Rio 2, Spider-Man, Bad Neighbours & X-Men

Rio 2

Synopsis: It’s a jungle out there for Blu, Jewel and their three kids after they’re hurtled from Rio de Janeiro to the wilds of the Amazon. As Blu tries to fit in, he goes beak-to-beak with the vengeful Nigel, and meets his father-in-law.

Not into cartoons but this one is fun to watch. Love the soundtrack too !

Rating: 4/5

The Amazing Spider-Man 2

Synopsis: Peter Parker (spiderman) runs the gauntlet as the mysterious company Oscorp sends up a slew of super villains against him, impacting his life.

Not as amazing as the previous one. Poor Jamie Foxx, he shouldn’t be the bad guy.

Rating: 2.5/5

Bad Neighbours (R21)

Synopsis: A couple with a newborn baby face unexpected difficulties after they are forced to live next to a fraternity house.

Utterly disappointed. Not funny, trying my best to laugh but I just cant. Too much of bromance which make the movie kinda gayish. Total waste of money.

Rating: 1.5/5

X-Men: Days of Future Past

Synopsis: The X-Men send Wolverine to the past in a desperate effort to change history and prevent an event that results in doom for both humans and mutants.

Not a fan of X-Men movies. In fact, this is my first time watching X-Men movies. Not as bad as I expected. Surprisingly, the movie is quite hilarious.

Rating: 3.5/5

LAWA Chocolate

It’s been a while since my last post. Holiday is over and I have been too busy with my school life. Surprisingly, first few weeks of school was quite slack. This week and last week was an e-learning week but I still went to school to complete my elearning stuff.

At night, my friends and I will go for dinner. Usually it’s only me and Kenny. As for others, they would prefer to eat at home since they live nearby.

There are a lot of eateries in Tampines but I’m sick and tired of their food. Last Thursday, we decided to have dinner in Downtown East. We ate at Asli Village and we even get to try LAWA Chocolate cakes. We chanced upon this place while we were eating there.

LAWA Chocolate is a  desserts stall located in Asli Village Food Court, Downtown East. They have various kind of cakes such as Chocolate Truffle, Lava Cake, Mint Chocolate, Oreo Cheesecake and more !

They even have macaroons and waffles too !

Their Nutella Macaroons which I didn’t manage to try because I’m too full haha . It looks pretty delicious !

Not forgetting their most value for money set meal ! A slice of cake or pie of your choice + ice cream of the day and a chocolate ice blended for just $10 ! You can also try their Set B; a Waffle with Ice Cream and their signature Mango Smoothie for only $8 !

I didn’t take a proper photo because I wasn’t feeling very well that day. I have been coughing, sneezing non stop for the past one week. That doesn’t mean I cannot enjoy my food ! I bought their Set Meal A and I tried their Mint Chocolate Cake ( rating: 3/5)

Kenny bought the same meal with a different choice of cake. He chose their Chocolate Truffle ( rating: 3.5/5 ). The icecream was rich and creamy and wwere impressed with the generous size of the scoops.

We had a chance to try their signature drink, Mango Smoothie.  I am not a huge fan of smoothies as most of you will know, I much prefer juices but their Mango Smoothie are simply awesome and flavourful ! Their Mango smoothie are made with fresh Mango fruit ! ( rating: 4/5 )

What are you waiting for ? Head down to Downtown East today and try their sweet desserts ! Their owner are very friendly too !

For those who are going to Singapore Expo, you can visit their booth at Hall 6 from 22nd to 25th May ! Don’t forget to like their Facebook page too !
