I’m a Staightforward Person

I’m a very straightforward person. I see no point in playing games, or twisting the truth. I say exactly what I think because I dislike beating around the bush. Its good because people can always trust me to give them an honest opinion but not everybody likes it because they only want to listen to praises, not criticism.

Because of that, I only straightforward talk to those who I’m comfortable with.

No matter how close we are, if I dislike something about you, I’ll tell you straight to the face, in a nice way possible. I’ll talk to you personally or via whatsapp, not in front of other people. For me, being straightforward is good because you let people know their mistake or you let them clarify if there is any misunderstanding. It’s a win-win situation too. If that person is wrong, they will probably apologise but if you are wrong, at least they have chance to clarify and things will back to normal. They won’t hate you because you are being honest but if they do, then I don’t think they are your true friend and that’s another downside

I think it’s better than keeping to yourself. If you keep to yourself, you will suffer and it won’t solve the problem too. You will keep thinking about it and you will end up bearing grudges and thus it will affect your friendship/relationship. Problems will not disappear unless you take action. Keeping to yourself and bearing grudges, that’s selfish.

Some people, they are not a straightforward kind of person and they dislike bottling things up. So what they do is they go around telling people about the problem. I think this is not a good idea. If you have a problem with person A, then it’s between you and that person A. Don’t drag others in.

Don’t hate me for being straightforward to you. It’s better than keeping to myself and bear grudges on you, or worse, going around telling people about you.

So in conclusion, I think being straightforward is the best way though not all can accept it. But I can’t change how I’ve always been, especially cos I like being this way. I’d hate to play games with people.

Temasek Poly ITAS block is haunted ?

Time for a ghost story !

Talking about haunted places in Singapore,  school top the list. There are alot of ghost stories that happened in school.

Something happened to me while studying in school last semester. I’m a Temasek Polytechnic student for your info. That time, the school is quiet because it’s was a study week and students are not required to come to school and its was a ghost month period. I went to school to study because I find it convenient to study in school. I was accompanied by my classmates Kenny & Ren Guo.

Usually we always study in school library but that day, we decided to study in Lecture Theatre located at block 3, the ITAS block. We started studying at 2pm. At around 7pm, when I was teaching both of them, suddenly we heard a hummimg sound, like old cheena song. Ren Guo thought I made the sound but I did not. The sound came from the back of LT. We were so scared but we continue revising. Studies more important haha.

While revising, we heard alot of weird noises but out of all sound, the hummimg sound is the scariest. We decided to stop revising at 8pm and went for dinner. We don’t really believe in supernatural stuff so we don’t really care about it.

New semester ! It’s only second week of school and I’ve tonnes of assignments need to be done. So I decided to stay back in school after my class which end at 6pm. Ren Guo was with me and we decided to study at one of the lab at level 7, ITAS block. Only two of us in the lab but there’s another two guys next door doing their work. Ren Guo & I were doing our own stuff when suddenly the guys next door ran out of the room. They took their stuffs and transfer to our room. They said they heard something. I wanted to laugh because both of them look so beng but scared of this kind of thing when I suddenly realised about what happened to us last semester. I asked them what they heard and they said they heard a lady singing.

Me and Ren Guo look at each other and I said ” maybe it’s a same ghost and she took lift up to level 7 hahaha “. Okay not funny. I was curious and I did research. I came across this post.

Is it the same lady ? Same song ?. I tried to do a deeper research and I came across another post.

Someone encountered something at ITAS block. Is ITAS block haunted ?

From what I know, Engine block 18 level 6 is haunted.

It was rumoured to have an indian worker binding wire inside a pillar but a colleague pour cement inside the pillar burying him in the process and they only found out when the whole building was almost completed. It was rumoured that the body is still inside the pillar which is believed to be somewhere in Block 18.

There are story about Engine block 18. Engine block corridors from Block 18 were so haunted that guards wouldn’t patrol that area. A famous story told by a guard was he saw a student at a locker as he was patrolling and as he make an U turn few minutes later, he found a piece of newspaper on the floor with that student’s face he just saw. Only problem is that student was killed by a sports car at the bus stop few months back.

The story of block 18 I took it from other website. I know the English is terrible but Im lazy to correct their English.

Is ITAS block the next block 18 ?
